One of the smallest cars that you will find that’s made by domestic automakers in the U.S., the Chevrolet Spark offers quite a bang for the buck. A four-door hatchback that’s comes in three trims and that seats four passengers, this quirky little ride has plenty of interior features and amenities to keep you enticed with your new auto purchase. Stock comes with 15” alloy wheels, automatic headlights, 60/40 split-fold rear seats, OnStar and a four-speak stereo system. With a price that’s more affordable than the popular and competing Fiat 500 or Scion iQ hatchbacks, the Spark is a great option for first-time car buyers. Upgrade to a different trim level and enjoy added amenities like the 7” touchscreen console with the MyLink interface, upgraded 6-speaker stereo system, heated mirrors, sports treatments, roof rails and plenty of other desirables, like faux leather seating and sports-styled wheels. All models include traction and stability control as well as front and rear side airbags, side curtain airbags and knee airbags in the front seat. Don’t anticipate a lot of zip-and-go with this car, because it only offers a 1.2-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 84 horsepower at 83 pound-feet of torque. For the price, however, it’s an affordable compact hatchback that’s domestically made.
